The valley of Orient is an oasis of peace and tranquillity surrounded by nature: olive trees, oak forests, aromatic herbs and a varied vegetation which is unique to this valley.

It was precisely the beauty of this valley that motivated the Bishop Don Feliu de Cabrera back in the 1950's, to convert the 400 year-old stately home into a wonderful monastery.

Nowadays L'Hermitage consists of a main living area with an oil mill, a tower, annexes which are bedrooms, a herb garden. All of this comprises a beautiful estate
